The bow deck of a catamaran is, by design, a generous space. In this case, the owner of several of them uses them for tourist excursions along the Mallorcan coast in the height of summer. The challenge was to transform those 42 m² into a comfortable shaded area when the boat is at anchor, without adding a fixed structure that could interfere with hoisting the genoa sail whilst under way.
