The Bandalux indoor venetian blinds are made of aluminium or wood slats arranged horizontally. Depending on the orientation of the slats, they allow us to regulate the entry of light and air. The standard sizes of the slats are 16, 25 and 50 mm. They can be installed between glass panes or inside a window frame, so that it can be opened and closed without having to pull the venetian blind up.
We would like to mention that a very similar solution is available for outdoor applications: foldable blinds / external venetian blinds.
This is a classic type of curtain widely used in decoration. It dates back to the 18th century, when Venetian merchants brought it to Europe from Persia.
